រនោចទៅលេងអង្គរ

ម៉ែជាមនុស្សទីមួយ​ ដែលនៅជាប់ជាមួយខ្ញុំចាប់តាំងពីចាប់កំណើតក្នុងផ្ទៃ។ ម៉ែជាមនុស្សទីមួយ ដែលបង្រៀនកូន ទាំងការនិយាយ ហូប និងស្លៀកពាក់។ ម៉ែជាមនុស្សទីមួយ ដែលកូនតែងនឹកឃើញមុនគេ ទាំងក្នុងគ្រាមានអំណរសប្បាយ និងទុក្ខព្រួយ។ ប៉ុន្តែភាពកក់ក្តៅ អំណរសប្បាយ និងមេរៀនជីវិត ជាមួយម៉ែមានរយៈពេលខ្លី ព្រោះម៉ែបានទទួលមរណភាពក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៩២។ មួយឆ្នាំបន្ទាប់មកប៉ា បានទទួលមរណភាពម្នាក់ទៀត ខ្ញុំក្លាយជាក្មេងកំព្រា។

រនោចទៅលេងអង្គរ ស្នាដៃរូបថតសិល្បៈដំបូងរបស់ខ្ញុំ ក្រោយពេលបានចូលរួមសិក្សាអំពីរូបថតសិល្បៈរបស់ទីលាននិម្មិត ដែលណែនាំដោយ លោកគ្រូ ម៉ក់ រ៉េមីស្សា ក្នុង២០២៤។  រនោច គឺជាពេល​វេលាពន្លឺ​ព្រះ​ចន្ទ​ ងងឹតបន្តិចម្តងៗពីមួយថ្ងៃទៅមួយថ្ងៃនៅពេលរាត្រី រហូតដល់ងងឹតសូន្យឈឹងតែម្តង ។ ខ្ញុំនៅចាំម៉ែធ្លាប់និយាយថា «អង្គរវត្តស្អាតណាស់ មានចម្លាក់ជាច្រើនធ្វើពីថ្មសុទ្ធ មានចម្លាក់ទេពអប្សរស្អាតៗជាច្រើនផងដែរ។ មួយជីវិតយើងនេះ បើបានទៅមើលអង្គរវត្តម្តង នោះជាបុណ្យខ្ពស់ណាស់»។  ខណៈដែលជីវិតមិនទៀងទាត់ ម៉ែ និងខ្ញុំមិនបានទៅលេងអង្គរវត្តរួម​ជាមួយ​គ្នា​ឡើយ។

ខ្ញុំបានពឹងសហការីកន្លែងការងាររបស់ខ្ញុំ ដើម្បីជួយធ្វើជាតួគំរូក្នុងប្លង់រូបថតនីមួយៗរបស់ខ្ញុំ នៅតាមប្រាសាទនានាដែលខ្ញុំចូលចិត្ត និងចង់នាំម៉ែទៅដល់តាមរយៈកម្រងរូបថត សិល្បៈរបស់ខ្ញុំ។ ឲ្យម៉ែឈរគយគន់មើលរូបចម្លាក់ស្អាតៗ ជួបភ្ញៀវទេសចរ និងថតខាងមុខស្ថាបត្យកម្មដ៏អស្ចារ្យ គឺប្រាង្គប្រាសាទភ្នំ​កំពូលបី ដែលមាននៅលើទង់ជាតិរបស់ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។ ទិដ្ឋភាព​ទាំងអស់នេះ គឺមានលក្ខណៈធម្មជាតិ និងស៊ីចង្វាក់គ្នាយ៉ាងល្អឥតខ្ចោះជាមួយនឹងចំណងជើងកម្រងរូបថត ដែលមានព្រះច័ន្ទពេញវង់បង្ហាញនៅក្នុងរូបថតតែមួយ ហើយបង្ហាញរូបស្រមោលមនុស្សព្រាលៗ និងប្រាសាទដ៏អស្ចារ្យ៕

Ranoch Visited Angkor

Mother is a first lady who has always been with me since the beginning of her pregnancy. Mother was the first to teach me how to speak, eat, and put on my clothes. Mother is the person I miss the most in both my joy and sorrow. However, the warmth, joy, and life skills she imparted were short-lived, especially after she passed away in 1992. A year later, my father died, leaving me, their only child behind.

"Ranoch Visited Angkor" is my first photography artwork, created after participating with Nimith Art Space, founded by Prof. MAK Remissa, an art photographer, in 2023. Literally, “Ranoch” refers to a period when the moonlight becomes increasingly weak at night. We had both dreamed of going together to visit Angkor Wat, of which Mom told me: “Angkor Wat is magnificent and has many sculptures and beautiful Apsaras. For the rest of our lives, if we visit Angkor Wat even once, it will be a great blessing.” Since life did not allow for this visit, I realized it in photography.

To allow my mother to visit the temples in images, I called on a colleague, a woman who, alone, poses in the ruins, walks around, contemplates bas-reliefs, fits into the geometry of a door, meets tourists, poses with the characteristic architecture in front of the three towers of the mountain temple, the only monument to appear on a national flag. And, quite naturally and in perfect harmony with the title of the series, the full moon invites itself in one image and draws the silhouette of the visitor and that of the majestic ruins. But the image of this young woman is most of the time blurred or moved to avoid making them too present.
