The Dead Water by YOU Bun Chan

ទឹកស្លាប់

ទឹកមិនត្រឹមតែជាពិភពនៃការករកើតនៃជីវិតនោះទេ សារៈសំខាន់របស់ទឹកគឺជួយទ្រទ្រង់ជីវិត នៃភាវៈរស់ទំាងអស់ដែលមាននៅលើភពផែនដីដូចជាមនុស្ស, សត្វ និងរុក្ខ។ បើគ្មានទឹក នោះផែនដីនឹងប្រែក្លាយទៅជាភពដែលគ្មានជីវិត។ ថ្វីត្បិតតែទឹកមានសារៈសំខាន់សម្រាប់ជីវិតក៏ដោយ ក៏ប៉ុន្តែទឹកនាពេលបច្ចុប្បន្នក៏បានកំពុងបំផ្លាញផែនដីផងដែរ ហើយការជះឥទ្ធិពលទាំងអស់នេះជាលទ្ធផលនៃសកម្មភាពដែលចេញពីសា្នដៃរបស់មនុស្ស ដែលខ្ញុំហៅថាជា “ទឹកស្លាប់” ។

ទឹកស្លាប់ គឺជាចំណងជើងនៃស្នាដៃដំបូងរបស់ខ្ញុំក្នុងការបង្កើតរូបភាពបែបទម្រង់សិល្បៈ ដែលចង់និយាយអំពីផលប៉ះពាល់អវិជ្ជមាននៃការបំពុលទឹករបស់មនុស្ស ដូចជាការបង្ហូរទឹកកខ្វក់រឺសារធាតុគីមី និងការចោលសំរាម ប្លាស្ទិក​ឥតឈប់ឈរទៅក្នុងទឹក ដែលបានបង្តើតជាមេរោគថ្មីៗ និងធើ្វឱ្យប៉ះពាល់ទៅដល់អាយុជីវិតសត្វដែលរស់នៅក្នុងទឹក ។

ទឹកស្លាប់ គឺជាសា្នដៃដែលបង្កប់អត្តន័យ និងមានបំណងចង់បង្ហាញទៅកាន់មហាជនអោយចេះខ្វល់ខ្វាយពីផងប៉ះពាល់នៃការបំពុលបរិស្ថាន​ ពីមួយថ្ងៃទៅមួយថ្ងៃ ដោយហេតុផលថា អ្នកដែលរងគ្រោះពិតប្រាកដ នៅពេលអនាគត​គឺជាមនុស្សយើង និងកូនចៅជំនាន់ក្រោយ៕

The Dead Water

Water is not only the source of life, but its importance lies in supporting the life of all living beings on Earth, such as humans, animals, and plants. Without water, the Earth would become a lifeless planet. Although water is essential for life, it is currently destroying the Earth, and all these impacts are the result of human activities, which I call “The Dead Water.”

The Dead Water is the title of my first artwork, which aims to highlight the negative impacts of human-caused water pollution, such as the discharge of dirty water or chemicals and the constant dumping of plastic waste into the water, which has led to the emergence of new viruses and affected the lives of aquatic animals.

The Dead Water is a symbolic gesture that aims to show the public the importance of being concerned about the effects of environmental pollution every day because the real victims in the future are us and future generations.
